Stewardship: Week 1 - Devotion 2
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.” - Genesis 1:31
In the movie Tron: Legacy the son of a man named Flynn finds a way to transport himself into a digital computer-type world to look for his father, the designer, and creator of this fantasy world. When he finds his dad, he is amazed at the scope and complexity of what his father created. Imagine that you were the son and the feeling you might have had looking across this fantasy land and realizing it was all formed and placed into existence by your father.
As complex as the Tron world was it can’t compare to the beauty and complexity of the real world created by your heavenly Father. Have you taken any time lately to be awed by God’s creation? Have you taken any time lately to thank Him for giving you the privilege of being a part of His creation?
As you go about your life this week find some part creation that you take for granted each day like a warm sun, the brilliant night sky, or the gentle sound of much-needed rain and thank God for the simple things He created.
