Membership

E-2685.jpg

At Englewood, we take membership seriously. We believe committing to a family of believers who are joining together to build The Church is one of the most important decisions you will make in life. Our desire is for you to understand clearly the expectations and process of membership so you can move forward with confidence, knowing you will be a part of a family who will encourage, teach, and build one another up in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Below, we have outlined our three-step membership process, as well as our three weekly expectations for members. When you come for membership, you will be considered a “pending member” until the steps of the process have been completed.

If you would like more information about membership, or you are ready to move forward with the process, please contact Katie Yeaglin.

Membership Process

1) Meet With A Pastor

We want to know you and for you to know us. Meeting with one of our pastors is a great first step in making that happen! Upon presenting yourself for membership, this meeting will be scheduled in the week following.

2) Attend "Rooted 201: An Engaged Life"

This is our membership class that will clearly define the expectations of membership and help you understand the important role that each member plays.

3) Sign Our Statement Of Faith

Our statement of faith simply outlines each of our beliefs according to ScriptureWe believe each member should read, understand and agree with these truths.

Weekly Member Expectations

Worship

Worship is a privilege, as well as a necessity for a vibrant walk with Christ. We expect members to make worship a priority and make every effort to join one of our weekly worship services.

Small Group

Our Small Groups are the heartbeat of Englewood. Here, you have the opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word, build relationships with others, and engage in ministry together.

Serve

As a disciple of Christ, we are called to seek out opportunities to serve others and church. God has uniquely equipped you to serve – therefore, we want to partner with you so your gifts can be magnified.
