Mission Jackson is a ministry where Englewood volunteers go out each week on Wednesday and Sunday to serve the community in multiple locations around Jackson. At each location, volunteers share the Gospel and build relationships through sports, crafts, small group bible studies. Kids of all ages and families are being reached through this ministry. Volunteers are needed to reach more families and multiply Mission Jackson sites across the city. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Katelyn Shanklin.

D2 is a seven week discipleship program for Mission Jackson students meeting in Spring and Fall. During the seven weeks, Mission Jackson students learn skills such as art, theater, basketball, soccer, dance and cooking. Students also hear a Bible lesson and attend small groups. D2 needs volunteers who will teach a life skills class or be a small group leader. If you are interested in volunteering at D2, contact Yvette Nesbitt.
Andrew Jackson Elementary
Many of our Mission Jackson students attend schools close to EBC. We spend a majority of our time serving the school located closest to our church, Andrew Jackson Elementary. Small groups adopt classrooms, teams work on landscaping, and some even perform minor repairs. Throughout the year we have events such as a Fall Fest, a picnic on the school lawn for all to attend, a Spring fling to gather with everyone again, and a teacher appreciation banquet to thank all those who teach at Andrew Jackson.
KAA (Kids Across America) |Summer
Kids Across America Camp's vision is to see urban youth impact their communities for Christ. Their vision to build Christian leaders by encouraging, equipping, and empowering urban youth and their mentors through camping and education. Each summer Englewood gives Mission Jackson students as many Mission Jackson students as possible the chance to attend this weeklong camp. Each year more students get to attend and bring stories of radical transformation in their lives.
