MEMBERSHIP

Thank you for your interest in membership at Englewood Baptist Church! We are so excited for you to build REAL COMMUNITY here with us! As a new member, we want everyone to find the right place to plug in. To become a member at Englewood, please follow these steps.

1. SHARE YOUR STORY

We want to know how you came to know Jesus. Whether you have been a Christian for a long time or are just now understanding the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we want to hear what God has done in your life. You can set up a time to meet with us by emailing membership@ebcjackson.org or come by the Decision Counseling room after service on any Sunday morning.

2. ATTEND A MY STEPS CLASS

We would like you to know our values and measures as a church. In the MySteps class you will meet other new members and learn how to “Step Up” at Englewood. Please email membership@ebcjackson.org for information about the time and location for the next MySteps class.

3. SIGN THE STATEMENT OF FAITH

We would like you to read our “Statement of Faith” to understand our beliefs as a church. It is a copy of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 with some additions. We ask that you note the sections on “Baptism” and “Marriage and Family.” If you have any questions or concerns about our beliefs, please email stepup@ebcjackson.org to set up a meeting with a Pastor.

Our hope for you as you become a member at Englewood is to be a Helpful Contributor. We believe the first way to do this is by joining a Life Group. Here is a link to our Life Group Description page so that you can look at what group might best fit your stage of life. We would love to take you to a class and introduce you to the leaders. Any Sunday you would like to visit, please stop by the Decision Counseling Room behind the Worship Center and one of the members of the Adult Ministry Team will be happy to escort you!
