The Englewood Women’s Ministry is offering two summer classes beginning Wednesday, June 11 through July 16, 5:45pm. Both of these classes are designed to encourage you to reach for the light and hope we have in Christ and to motivate you to share that hope and light to your individual world.
BONHOEFFER: THE LIFE AND WRITINGS OF DIETRICH BONHOEFFER
By Eric Metaxas, facilitated by Rachel Cleveland, Room WEB 203, Cost: $20.00
“True grace comes by costly sacrifice.” This study helps in discovering the major themes of Bonhoeffer’s writing and speaking and how he not only helped transform an entire faith community in Germany during World War II, but how his beliefs continue to impact the Christian faith of people throughout the world today. You will be inspired and challenged in your faith.
By Christine Caine, facilitated by Kelley Elliott, Room WEB 201, Cost: Book and Study Guide $20.
Christine’s story is a dramatic one from which she offers life-transforming insights about not only how to overcome the trials, wrong turns, and often painful circumstances we all experience, but also how to grow from those experiences and be equipped and empowered to help others. This study will awaken your spirit to the reality that you also possess all it takes to hope, to create change and to live completely for Christ.
ROMANS--Verse by Verse, taught by Kristie Niemeier in Room WC 111. (This is an ongoing study)
To encourage other women in a one-on-one encounter providing prayer, encouragement and mentoring.
